Tangerine Peel


Add a sweet and tangy citrus flavor and make your summertime beer even more refreshing. The dried peel of the tangerine fruit, this is used in the brewing process to add a distinct and refreshing tangerine flavor and aroma to beer. Generally it is added at the end of the boil, anytime in the last 10 minutes. With the explosion of citrus IPAs and pale ales, this is a great way to add some extra tangerine character to your beer. It can also be used in fruit beers, wheat beers, hefeweizens and Belgians of all kinds. Up to 1 oz in 5 gallons.
